Lady Gaga have been a massive supporter of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community since the beginning of her music career, and obviously she have got a lot of attention, good and bad critics because of it. Now, all the support she have gave to the community is getting it’s recognition.
This year Gaga will be honored by “The Trevor Project” (A nonprofit organization that offers suicide-prevention services to the LGBT youth) with the “Trevor Hero Award“.
“Our young people are at the center of a health crisis, and vocal leaders like Lady Gaga and technology leaders like Google Inc. have stepped up to help change our culture,” David McFarland, interim executive director and CEO of the Trevor Project, said in a statement.
The Trevor party is set to go down on December 4 at the Hollywood Palladium. Gaga won’t be the only A-lister on hand at the big show - Fergie, Mary J. Blige, Miley Cyrus, Gleeks: Chris Colfer and Darren Criss, Julianne Hough and “True Blood” star Joe Manganiello are a few of the stars slated to appear.
