Lady Gaga to Perform at President Obama’s Inauguration (UPDATED)

Vincent Herbert has confirmed that Gaga is set to preform at Barack Obama’s Presidential Inauguration on January 21st. Skip to 1:53 for confirmation.

UPDATE — January 19 — According to The Hollywood Reporter, an inaugural source clarified Vincent Herbert’s statement, by saying that Gaga will be headlining a private event held for the members of President Barack Obama’s campaign on January 22nd, and not the actual inauguration event on January 21st.

Lady Gaga and Danny Trejo Set to Fight to Death in ‘Machete Kills’

During a press junket for his new film, Death Race 3, actor and star of ‘Machete Kills’, Danny Trejo revealed that the he and Lady Gaga will fight to death, stating that Gaga is one of the assassins who try to kill him. “She even has a tattoo on her upper arm of my face, under which it says, ‘Machete Must Die’,” revealed Trejo.

The actor went on to compliment Gaga as an actress, stating “Lady Gaga is remarkable. She proves to be a great actress. She surprised me and everyone else, she’s very quick and powerful in character. And I think this is her first film as an actress.”

Machete Kills was shot last summer in Texas, and is due out in the US this July. Click here for a list of the worldwide release dates.

Rolling Stone magazine has just launched a super comprehensive timeline for all things Lady Gaga: news, videos, reviews, photos, etc. from the 2000s to current day. Another huge milestone for Gaga, Rolling Stone’s creation of her unique artist timeline names her as one of the Queens of pop, alongside artists including Alice Cooper, Bruce Springstein, and Beyoncé.
