Lady Gaga’s First Cameo in Machete Kills Movie!

Posted on 26th July, 2012 in News Articles

Movie director Robert Rodriguez hit Twitter today to announce: “I just finished working with @LadyGaga on @MacheteKills, she kicked SO MUCH ASS! Holy Smokes. Blown away!” And along with it, he added a character poster that reveals she, rather appropriately, plays a character named La Chameleon. No word yet if she brought her own wardrobe to the shoot. The “Machete” franchise has already made a name for itself for being a bit more adventurous with its participants, but even this is pretty surprising, though we’d guess Stefani Germanotta’s appearance will be a boosted up cameo, but not much more.

Madonna on Lady Gaga: “At the end of the day, we’re very different”

Posted on 26th July, 2012 in News Articles

During a press junket in London last week, Madonna spoke out to the media regarding her feelings about Lady Gaga. Speaking to press, Madonna said she is a big fan of the song “Born This Way” and jokingly added that she is also “glad that I could help her write it.” Madonna also defended her recent mash up of “Express Yourself” and “Born This Way”, featured in her MDNA World Tour, by stating that it isn’t meant to be taken seriously, but meant to be a tribute and also a bit of a joke.

The star added that she tries not to pay attention to the comparisons drawn between the two, and that “I think she [Gaga] is very talented. At the end of the day, we’re very different. We both have different things to say. I think that’s some journalists trying to stir up trouble by constantly making references to other artists.”

Exclusive 2009 Glastonbury Festival Audio Outtakes

Posted on 26th July, 2012 in Exclusive

“On July the 26th, Friday 2009, all the kids came out to Glastonbury and they shot the Paparazzi!” – Lady Gaga at Glastonbury, June 26, 2009.

Even though this performance took place June 26, 2009 and not on July 26, as Gaga mentions during the show, we at PropaGaga.com wanted to celebrate Lady Gaga’s very first festival gig by releasing two exclusive audio outtakes from the broadcast. The show, originally aired on BBC Three in 2009, was cut short, due to a revealing top Gaga wore during “Beautiful, Dirty, Rich” and “The Fame”.

We hope you enjoy these two exclusive tracks and we hope to continue sharing more exclusives with you in the future! Read More…
