Check out Gaga’s uncut VMA promo! The sizzling clip features all of Gaga’s Lower East Side crew set to a mash up of “Government Hooker” and “Heavy Metal Lover”. Gaga will be opening the 2011 Video Music Awards which take place Sunday, August 28, at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

MTV First: Lady Gaga

On Thursday night, Gaga sat down for an intimate chat with MTV’s Sway in Times Square where she answered a speed round of fan questions, discussed her 2011 VMA plans and inspiration behind “Yoü and I” and recalled visiting TRL as a kid, among many other things. Gaga is set to open the 2011 Video Music Awards!

Lady Gaga and Cher’s “The Greatest Thing” Coming in September!

Cher announced on Twitter Tuesday night that her long awaited duet with Gaga titled “The Greatest Thing” will be released in September! The track will be the first single from Cher’s comeback album due out before the end of the year. “The Greatest Thing” is produced by RedOne and written by Lady Gaga. A rough demo of the track surfaced last year and quickly became a fan favorite.
